Bronx second baseman Eric Swinney picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Peoria Caterpillars, 8-7. The winner was Bronx reliever Ewan Pethick, now 8-7. The loser was John Now.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Jorge Guerrero, hit a single. It helped Bronx seize the win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Guerrero said.

Bronx is now 62-86, while Peoria is 76-76.
