Riding the 0-hit performance of the 24-year old center fielder Jorge Quintero, the Albuquerque Cacti stopped the Fort Worth Cats, 4-1. Hisataro Sato recorded his 43rd save for Albuquerque. The first-place Cacti now have a win-loss record of 78-71.
Donald Stevens came through for the Cacti in the top of the second inning. With Albuquerque leading 1-0, the left fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Albuquerque manager Lou Hampton.
