Caterpillars Roll to 8-2 Win Over Bombers
The Peoria Caterpillars topped the Bronx Bombers, 8-2, in Darryl Kile League action at Bronx Ballpark. The player of the game was Peoria designated hitter Kosaku Yasuda. Mitsuzuka Koyama earned the win for Peoria. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 12 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 8-9.
