Havana Stogies starter Peter Miner turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Mafia at The Humidor. The result was a win for the Stogies, 5-2. Teguh Suharto closed it out for his 12th save. At 21-11, the Stogies have played well so far.

Havana first baseman Kohei Matsumoto changed the complexion of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when he belted a grand slam home run off Luis Vega. His 2nd home run of the season put Havana in front, 4-2.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Matsumoto. "But I like how we're playing right now."
