Loss to Aeropostales Extends Coronado Losing Streak
|
A nice crowd turned out to see the Indian Wells Aeropostales and Coronado Phantoms clash at Phantoms Field.
Motonobu Suzuki added some punch to the Indian Wells offense, helping them outmuscle the Coronado Phantoms, 13-7. In the game, Suzuki went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Coronado.
An important at-bat for Indian Wells came with one out in the top of the fourth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Suzuki hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Aeropostales win.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Coronado manager Jeffrey Graham.
