7-2 Win by Marauders Continues Hot Start
|
Getting a good performance from center fielder Andreas Kubel, the Maple Marauders defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 7-2. Kubel was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Marauders. The Marauders, now 23-8, have been playing some good baseball.
Doing his part for Maple was third baseman Dustin McMahon, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the first. For the game, McMahon was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
