The Scranton Escape outscored the Fort Worth Cats, 14-11. Tom Cherry led the way, going 2-for-3 for Scranton. Scranton is now 70-76.

The Escape grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Alejandro Hernández hit a grand slam home run off James Akehurst, putting Scranton in front, 7-4. For Hernández, it was his 1st home run of the season.

Fort Worth manager Lowell Wise said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score that many runs, you expect to win the game."
