The Bronx Bombers got a stellar performance from pitcher Dwayne Wilberfoss, who handcuffed the Vancouver offense en route to a 5-2 win at Stanley Park. Bronx reliever Dwayne Wilberfoss was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Alberto Ramírez took the loss for Vancouver. At 58-84, the Bombers find themselves in last place in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.

In the top of the first, Lonnie Martin took a fastball from Alberto Ramírez and pounded a 2-run home run to left. It put Bronx on top, 2-0. For the game, Martin went 1-2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Bronx manager Carl Smith.
