Caterpillars Fall to .500 After Loss to Banditos
The Peoria Caterpillars got a sterling performance from center fielder Francis Barlow, but the Banditos still prevailed, 6-5. Barlow was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. Acapulco reliever Steve Burton was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Luis Domínguez took the loss. Dennis Horning, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.

António González contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that propelled Acapulco to the win.
