Victory Pushes Blazers Record to 17-15
|
Fans at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Bloomington Blazers take on the San Francisco Earthquakes.
With left fielder Sean Clark leading the charge, the Bloomington Blazers defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 8-5, at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. Clark, the two overall pick in the 2027 draft, was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Earthquakes fall to 13-19 and continue their uneasy start to the 2032 season.
Clark provided the big break for the Blazers in the bottom of the first inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run, helping Bloomington to get the win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Clark said after the game.
