Cacti Get Win, Extend Streak to 4

The first-place Albuquerque Cacti welcomed Joplin to Albuquerque Sports Stadium.
The Albuquerque Cacti downed the Joplin Fireballs, 7-5, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Allen Foley led the way, going 1-for-1 for Albuquerque. Hisataro Sato got credit for the save for Albuquerque. It was his 41st of the year.
In a game filled with surprises, perhaps none was as big as Foley's contribution. The Albuquerque pinch hitter is a relative newcomer. With no one out in the bottom of the eighth, when the Cacti had a runner on 1st, Foley delivered a crucial 2-run home run.
"The vibe's good," said Albuquerque manager Lou Hampton. "We've got to keep it going."
At 76-65, the Cacti have a slim two-game lead in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.
