Losing Streak Continues for Bumblebees with 4-2 Loss to Baristas
The Silver Lake Baristas got a strong performance from pitcher Carl Veeck, who stymied the Pasadena offense en route to a 4-2 win at Ashton Gate. Bhanuratha Vaithu sewed up the save, his 16th. The losses continue to add up for Pasadena, which has now fallen 8 times in a row.

Silver Lake took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, pinch hitter Jim Unknown hit a 3-run home run that amped up the crowd.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Unknown told the Silver Lake Daily News. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
