Astoria starter Chris Pelton pitched effectively against the Vancouver Canadians at Golden Fleece Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. Sawao Yoshimura picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-4. Peter McColgan was tagged with the loss. Astoria has now won 3 in a row.

Chuck McNeil produced a go-ahead double for Astoria in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, McNeil hit a run-scoring double off Eddie MacClung. It put the Argonauts in front, 3-2.

"I was a little disappointed," said Vancouver manager John Harrison. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
