In a low-scoring affair between the Silver Lake Baristas and the Albuquerque Cacti, pitcher Norbert Tucci was the difference between victory and defeat. The Silver Lake right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 Baristas win. Bhanuratha Vaithu notched his 15th save in 18 chances. The Baristas now have a record of 54-86.
In the top of the fourth, Brady Warren had a big run-scoring single off Shunji Kurota. With the single, the Silver Lake center fielder put his team in front, 3-2. He was 1-4 with a walk in the contest.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Warren.
