Dave Braun did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Acapulco Banditos from losing, 4-3, to the Fort Worth Cats at LaGrave Field. Braun was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. At 71-68, the Cats find themselves in third place in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.

Jayden Rossell had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the ninth. The Fort Worth left fielder came through with a run-scoring single to put Fort Worth in front, 4-3.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Rossell said.
