Cacti Knock Off Baristas at Albuquerque Sports Stadium

The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Silver Lake Baristas, 7-5, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque left fielder Christophe Langlois was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Reliever Tom Murchison picked up the win. His record improves to 5-3. Harrison Keightley took the loss. Hisataro Sato closed the game out for Albuquerque, earning his 38th save.
Langlois had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch changeup from Harrison Keightley, he banged a 2-run triple to center, giving the Cacti a 5-3 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for Langlois.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Langlois.
The first-place Cacti have a one-game lead in their division.
