Benefiting from Javier Santos's productive game, the Fairfield Flash downed the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 9-4. Santos went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Flash. Gabriel Fajardo earned the save for Fairfield, his 4th of the year. The first-place Flash improved to 80-56.

Santos had a key at-bat for Fairfield early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Fairfield an early 3-1 lead.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Santos.
