Raiders Get One-Run Win at Antioch
Reno Raiders starter José Lara was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Antioch Coal Miners, 4-3. The second-place Raiders have won 4 straight games.

The Raiders beat the Coal Miners in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Kichisaburo Tanaka produced in the top of the fifth. Batting against Antioch pitcher Lester Bisdu, Tanaka gave his team a 3-2 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"José is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Reno manager Chris Brading.
