The Philadelphia Freedom topped the Detroit Death Stars by the score of 10-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Jang-lu Xiang. Xiang went 2-2 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times for the Freedom on the day. The 'W' lifts Philadelphia's record to 80-57.

Doing his part for Philadelphia was shortstop Jesús Ramos, who stroked a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the second. For the game, Ramos was 2-4 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
