Baristas Need Extra Frames to Get Past Cacti
The Silver Lake Baristas topped the Albuquerque Cacti, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The player of the game was Silver Lake pitcher and Hayward, California native Joe Hutchins. Mike Salter earned the save, his 1st, for the Baristas. The last-place Baristas lifted their record to 53-85.

Brady Warren's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from James Crowe for a run-scoring double. It put Silver Lake in front, 4-3.

In postgame comments, Hutchins said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
