Vancouver Canadians starter Peter McColgan was in fine form against the Scranton Escape at Hell Stadium, leading his team to a 5-3 win. McColgan went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 10-8. Alberto Ramírez earned the save, his 18th.

In the top of the third inning, Scotty Hudson contributed a big hit for the Canadians. With Vancouver leading 2-0, he hammered a 3-run home run.

"I felt good up there," said Hudson. "I saw the ball well."
