The Albuquerque Cacti used an offensive barrage to beat the Bowling Green Racers, 10-2, at Top of the Hill. Floyd McAuley led the way, going 3-for-5 for Albuquerque. Albuquerque reliever Shunji Kurota picked up the win to move to 8-5. Tokutomi Nishida suffered the loss. The first-place Cacti improved to 71-63.

McAuley went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 against the Racers. In the top of the first inning, he hit a 2-run home run that scored 2 and put Albuquerque in front, 2-0.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said McAuley.
