|
Miguel Olberos knocked in all 4 runs for the Minneapolis Freeze, helping them beat the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 4-2. Bruce Brown got the win, improving to 8-8. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Les van Kleef was credited with the save for Minneapolis, his 5th of the season.
Olberos provided the big break for the Freeze in the top of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run, helping Minneapolis to get the win.
"It was a solid team effort," said Olberos after the game.
The first-place Freeze raised their record to 73-58.
