The Indian Wells Aeropostales got a stellar effort from pitcher Anthony McIntyre, helping Indian Wells score a 5-2 win over the visiting Minneapolis Freeze. McIntyre, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. Kevin Spurr earned the save for Indian Wells, his 17th.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Stars Field seemed to enjoy watching the Nick Adenhart League action.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said McIntyre.

Indian Wells goes to 65-67, Minneapolis to 72-58.
