|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 31-year old left fielder Maziba Adeyemi, the Scranton Escape stopped the Pasadena Bumblebees, 4-2. Rino Nitisastro got credit for the save for Scranton. It was his 3rd of the year. Scranton, at 62-65, sits in 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.
Adeyemi contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the third. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Scranton get the win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Pasadena skipper Ramón Rosário, "and it cost us."
