Seattle Sasquatch starter Song Wa turned in a top-notch performance against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park. The result was a win for the Sasquatch, 2-1. Picking up the save was George Fortin, his 5th. Seattle, now 12-18, is off to a slow start.

Francisco Valdéz had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the seventh inning. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a single, helping Seattle to the win.

"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped San Francisco manager Julián Flores. "Obviously."
