Raiders Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Death Stars
The Reno Raiders beat the Detroit Death Stars, 9-3, at House of Pain. The Raiders got a fine performance from designated hitter Ennio Duccio, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Virisimo Antona, who threw 102 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits. The Raiders saw their win-loss record go to 63-63. At the same time, the Death Stars fell to 61-66.
