The New York Mafia defeated the Georgia Grays, 7-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Death Star. Denzel Tatchell received player of the game honors. The 9-year veteran went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Kenny Allen was the winner. Over 8 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Clemente Curry locked down his 4th save.

Ricardo Corte's at-bat in the top of the ninth inning was a big one for New York. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and New York leading 5-4, the catcher hit a 2-run single.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Tatchell.

The loss drops Georgia to 12-17.
