The Scranton Escape beat the Silver Lake Baristas, 7-4, at Hell Stadium. Scranton right fielder Jen-kan Yi earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Rino Nitisastro closed it out for his 2nd save. Their 61-60 record puts the Escape 4th in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Scranton catcher Ryuichi Kobayashi made his contribution to the Escape cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning. For the day, Kobayashi went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
