Canton and Albuquerque duked it out at Mckinley Park and the Paczkis came out victorious.
Canton first baseman Jesús Ortíz had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 8-6 win over the Albuquerque Cacti. Leonard Lee got the win, improving to 4-11. He held the Cacti to 3 earned runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 5. The save went to Atsushi Iitsuka, his 1st this season.
Noboru Kamada went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs for Canton. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the third, Kamada came through with a bases-clearing double. It put the Paczkis in front, 5-2.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Canton manager Omar Arteaga.
The Cacti, at 63-58, have lost 4 in a row.
