Rossell Helps Cats Run Win Streak to 4
|
Fort Worth left fielder Jayden Rossell had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Coronado Phantoms, 7-5. Reliever Iván Herrera picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Len Adkins took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Cats.
In the top of the sixth, José Rodríguez took a curveball from Len Adkins and pounded a 2-run home run to right. It put Fort Worth on top, 7-5. For the game, Rodríguez went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"The vibe's good," said Fort Worth manager Lowell Wise. "We've got to keep it going."
