The Billings Mustangs defeated the Peoria Caterpillars, 9-7, at Excavatar Park today. Leading the charge for Billings was left fielder David Ramírez. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Mustangs are now 58-64, while the Caterpillars fall to 60-64.

In the top of the first, Ramírez had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Mitsuzuka Koyama that staked the Mustangs to a 2-0 lead.
