Scranton played host to Silver Lake at the friendly confines of Hell Stadium.

The Scranton Escape topped the Silver Lake Baristas by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Maziba Adeyemi. Adeyemi went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Escape on the day. Scranton reliever Katsunan Sato picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Arata Shimizu was saddled with the loss.

With Scranton trailing 3-2 and a runner on 1st, the Escape fortunes got a boost when first baseman Jeremy Bassett turned a 1-0 slider from Arata Shimizu into his 9th home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Scranton up, 4-3.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager José Alonzo. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
