Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old left fielder Shunso Kichida, the Dallas Texans stopped the Mile High Mustangs, 5-2. Dallas reliever Rick MacLellan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pero Donini was saddled with the loss. Adrien Clément recorded his 10th save for Dallas.

It could have been a different outcome for Dallas, had it not been for Wen Wei, the 27-year old first baseman . Wei contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Dallas up, 1-0.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Wei said in reaction to the win.

The Mustangs fall to 12-15 and continue their lackluster start to the 2032 season.
