Suzuki Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Acapulco in Walk-Off Win
Yoshihiro Suzuki left his imprint on the 8-6 Acapulco win against the Scranton Escape. Suzuki, the 12 overall pick in the 2028 draft, went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Lex Herrewijn, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Acapulco bumps their record to 57-59 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Suzuki hit a sinker from Máximo Larreta for a 2-run home run. The Banditos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Suzuki said.
