Paczkis Win in Glorious Fashion

The Canton Paczkis got a magnificent performance from pitcher Goro Ota, who muffled the Indian Wells offense en route to a tight 2-1 Paczkis win at Mckinley Park. The win was credited to Atsushi Iitsuka in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Wing-chiu Zhou took the loss. Canton currently is in third place in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division at 61-56.
Shihi Nakashima was the walk-off hero for Canton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Paczkis third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Nakashima said in his postgame press conference.
