The Billings Mustangs defeated the Philadelphia Freedom, 4-3, in Darryl Kile League action at The Bell, with Billings pitcher Norberto Bianchi named player of the game. Billings's record now stands at 54-61, placing them 4th in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.

Billings took a 3-2 lead on Xing-peng Ran's 103rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Ran hit in the top of the seventh, left Philadelphia pitcher Ian Burrell shaking his head.

Bianchi told a Billings Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
