Cacti Topple Phantoms with Late Rally
|
The Albuquerque Cacti topped the Coronado Phantoms, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Phantoms Field. The player of the game was Albuquerque right fielder Allen Foley. Albuquerque reliever Todd Anderson picked up the win to move to 7-4. Kawanari Uchida suffered the loss. With the victory, the Cacti record now stands at 59-53.
Albuquerque took a 5-3 lead on Christophe Langlois's 18th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Coronado pitcher Kawanari Uchida in the top of the ninth.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Albuquerque manager Lou Hampton. "It's usually not just one thing."
