Late Rally Gets Win for Canadians
Bowling Green designated hitter Lorenzo Castillo was sensational. He was 3-6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Vancouver beat the Racers, 6-4. Castillo was named the player of the game despite the loss. Vancouver reliever Bob Johnston picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Larry Allen was saddled with the loss. With the win, Vancouver has a record of 56-55. Bowling Green falls to 58-51.

This game was not decided until late. With two out in the top of the 15th, Thomas Schmidt hit a 2-run double. The Canadians took the lead, 6-4.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Schmidt. "I like it."
