Bumblebees Come Back Late to Clip Mustangs
The Pasadena Bumblebees dealt the Billings Mustangs a 6-4 loss at Cobb Field. George Brett Jr. was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Shouma Morita picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Norberto Bianchi took the loss. Gilberto Chávez earned the save for Pasadena, his 13th.

Had Brett Jr. not come through in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Brett Jr. hit a 2-run double. The Bumblebees never looked back after taking the 6-4 lead.
