The Bronx Bombers and Omaha Raptors completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Omaha Raptors got a sterling performance from pitcher Michael Walsh, but the Bombers still prevailed, 5-0. Walsh was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings allowing 4 runs. Bronx reliever Ronald Stevens picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Michael Walsh shouldered the loss.

Bronx third baseman Jorge Guerrero helped the Bombers go up, 2-0, in the bottom of the second inning. With the game tied, Guerrero hit a 2-run home run off Omaha pitcher Michael Walsh.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Guerrero told reporters after the game.

Their 41-64 record puts the Bombers last in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.
