Caterpillars Lose to Freeze in Walk Off
The Minneapolis Freeze wiggled past the Peoria Caterpillars, 6-5, at The Ice Box. Minneapolis pitcher Cory McCoy earned player of the game honors. Minneapolis reliever Cory McCoy got the win, raising his record to 6-3. Adam Stickells was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Freeze improved to 60-45.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Minneapolis third baseman Jim Bungay, facing Adam Stickells, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Freeze the 6-5 win.

In postgame remarks, Bungay simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
