Fans who gathered at Bronx Ballpark saw a good contest between the Omaha Raptors and Bronx Bombers.
Omaha starter John Denny pitched effectively against the Bronx Bombers at Bronx Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Their 47-59 record puts the Raptors 5th in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
Terry Pulh Jr. had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth for the Raptors. Coming up with the bases loaded and Omaha trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
"I like what I saw today," said Omaha manager Manuel Ruíz, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
