Freedom Walk Off with Win
The Philadelphia Freedom did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Omaha Raptors at The Bell. Nobody did more than pitcher John Deschamps, who captured player of the game honors. The current losing streak for Omaha has reached 5 games.

Philadelphia won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With no outs and Roosevelt Roberts on the mound for Omaha, shortstop Norbert McQueen hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Freedom fans to their feet.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said McQueen.
