Huguet has 3 hit night as Cats Squeeze Past Bowling Green

The Fort Worth Cats downed the Bowling Green Racers, 4-3, at LaGrave Field. The Cats were led by David Huguet, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Fort Worth has a record of 51-52. Bowling Green falls to 54-48.
Huguet contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Fort Worth in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Huguet took a fastball from Masamichi Takeda and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Cats to leap in front, 3-1.
Bowling Green manager Walt Dobson said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
