Victory Pushes Cacti Record to 54-49
|
Albuquerque Cacti starter James Crowe was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Acapulco Banditos, 5-2. The Cacti bumped their record to 54-49 with this latest triumph.
Joe Severns, who is tied for 6th in the NAL in triples with 4, helped out the Albuquerque cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 5 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs.
"We did a lot of things right," said Crowe.
