Parlato Hits 2 home runs in Freeze Win
A 5-RBI performance from the 22-year old second baseman Mike Parlato helped the Minneapolis Freeze beat the Astoria Argonauts, 9-3. Minneapolis reliever Mitsuharu Nakashima picked up the win, upping his record to 6-0. Miguel Padilla was saddled with the loss. Minneapolis improves to 59-44 with the win. They lead their division by 9 games.

Parlato had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 changeup from Miguel Padilla, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Freeze a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Parlato.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Parlato told reporters after the game.
