Did you catch a home run yesterday? One lucky fan has a prize possession after Steve McGowan crushed his 500 home run tonight.

McGowan offered the lucky fan some souvenirs and a small cash prize in exchange for the ball. The fan who caught the ball has been identified, but has not yet commented on his intentions.

"That's one you would kind of like to keep," McGowan said.

The Aces designated hitter went 1 for 3 with 1 home run and 2 runs batted in as the Columbus Aces won 7-6 over the Mile High Mustangs.

The Aces will be hosting a Steve McGowan commemorative poster promotion for an upcoming homestand.

Lifetime McGowan has hit .314 with 2270 hits, 500 home runs, 1418 RBIs and scored 1414 runs.
