Titans Turn Back Canton, 8-7
|
Chicago pinch hitter Luppe Missel had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 8-7 win over the Canton Paczkis. Ayan Osewe got credit for the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Matt Calderón got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.
Orlando Martínez in the top of the seventh had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Titans leading 8-7, the Chicago designated hitter hit a single.
"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Martínez.
The Titans bumped their record to 56-50 with this latest triumph.
