Getting a good performance from third baseman Lewis Hoskins, the Acapulco Banditos defeated the Antioch Coal Miners, 5-1. Hoskins was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Banditos. Dani López picked up the save for Acapulco, his 1st of the year. Acapulco is in 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 52-49.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, left fielder Tomiji Kohara delivered a key hit for the Banditos. With Acapulco leading 2-0, he ripped a 2-run home run.
